Introduction
Our Republic of Ireland business has struggled for many years due to rising costs and squeezed consumer spending, despite our efforts to turnaround the performance. Due to the increasingly volatile trading conditions, we have regrettably concluded it is no longer viable to continue trading here, so we’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to enter liquidation in this market.
We remain confident in the UK market and despite the lack of our presence on the high street in the Republic of Ireland, you can still shop with us online.
We appreciate you may have further questions in terms of how this affects you. To support with these, we’ve answered anticipated questions below.
Which of your Republic of Ireland stores are still open?
All of our stores in the Republic of Ireland are now closed.
How do I return an in-store purchase made before 20th February 2025 (pre-liquidation)?
We’re sorry, we aren’t able to accept any returns of in-store purchases made before 20th February 2025 (pre-liquidation) in our stores. However, you may submit a claim for any amounts owed to you in relation to returns. To do this, you must have obtained a claims form from in store, whilst our stores were open. You will need to email a copy of the purchase receipt, along with the claim form, to the address listed on the form itself. Any claim submitted will rank as unsecured in the liquidation.
Your claim will be recorded and you will receive an email on the status of your claim once all claims have been collated.
How do I return an in-store purchase made after 20th February 2025 (post-liquidation)?
All sale of items purchased in store in the liquidation sale from 22nd February 2025 are subject to a 30-day return/refund policy without any reason required to be given and with accompanying valid Liquidation Receipt. Any additional statutory rights remain unaffected. Returns can be made at any New Look Store in the Republic of Ireland, that remains open. If you cannot attend one of the stores that remain open for trading, you can contact the Joint Provisional Liquidators’ team directly at the following email address (NLLiquidationreturns@KPMG.ie) and they will deal directly with the processing of your return/refund.
Can I return an item purchased pre-liquidation in a Northern Irish store?
No, unfortunately we will not be able to accept any refunds of items purchased in the Republic of Ireland, in our Northern Irish stores.
How do I return my online order, before and after 20th February 2025?
Returns by post are simple. You have 28 days to return any full price or promotional item, and you have 14 days to return any sale items, from the day you receive your order. Other exclusions apply. We're sorry, we are unable to accept and process any returned orders in store.
I have a valid gift voucher, how can I redeem this?
During the liquidation period, any unspent gift vouchers cannot be used. However, you may submit a claim for any amounts owed to you in relation to your gift voucher. To do this, you must have obtained a claims form from in store, whilst our stores were open. You will need to email a copy of the gift voucher, along with the claim form, to the address listed on the form itself. Any claim submitted will rank as unsecured in the liquidation.
Your claim will be recorded and you will receive an email on the status of your claim once all claims have been collated.

What are my delivery options if I continue to shop online?
